Class Photographers

The school yearbook is comprised of three basic components.  The Classroom Photographer is responsible for helping to acquire pictures for #2 and #3.

  1. Portrait pages - individual portraits of your child taken by Hot Shot School Portraits
  2. Class collage pages - each class has a collage page with 15-25 photos from your class
  3. School-wide event collages which include:
  • Round-Up
  • Halloween
  • Field trips
  • Celebrations / Parties
  • Recess & Lunch
  • Technology
  • Library
  • Science
  • P.E.
  • Music & Spring Sing
  • Art
  • Nature Area/Garden
  • Indian and Rancho Days
  • Spring Musical (4th & 5th grade play )
  • Bandit Club
  • Symbols of Freedom (2nd grade only)
  • Family Events (Warriors game, Oakland A’s game, etc.)

Classroom Photographer's Guidelines:

Class Collage Requirements:

  • 20-30 photos of the kids in your class (small group photos work well)
  • One class/group photo
  • Each child needs to be represented at least once;  we don’t need 20 pictures of one child so please sift through the photos and just pick the best ones.
  • No pictures from events outside of school, such as birthday parties
  • Upload photos into your class' Flickr album.  I’ve already created an album for each class, so please do not create your own albums

School-Wide Event Collage Requirements:

  • Only need a max of 10-15 photos per event since we will be receiving photos from all classes.
  • Upload photos into the appropriate Flickr yearbook album.  For example, you should upload all of your Halloween photos into the album “2016-17 Halloween”.   Do not create your own albums.

  • March 6-10, 2018 - All photos need to be submitted and uploaded to the Flickr site
  • March 30, 2018 - Yearbook is submitted to the printers (just before Spring Break)

Photo Submission Process

Please upload all photos onto the Yearbook Flickr site.  DO NOT send links to your class photo site (i.e. Shutterfly, Snapfish, etc.) -- the yearbook staff does not have the resources to go through all of the photos and download them individually.

Please upload your photos in the appropriate albums.  Click here for upload instructions.
